SEACMA Asian Festival Scholarship
DESCRIPTION: The Southeast Asian Coalition is proud to present the Asian Festival Scholarship for Asian American high school seniors in the Worcester County area. Now in its twenty second year, the scholarship is reserved for Asian American students who are graduating froma Worcester County public high school and are planning to attend college in the fall of their graduating year. The scholarship award is given directly to the student to help with the costs of schoolbooks, supplies, and/or tuition costs. Five awards of $500 are given out each year at the Asian Festival in June. The awards will be presented this year on Saturday, June 21st, 2025, at the festival.
This scholarship award is made possible through Southeast Asian Coalition, vendor sponsors, sponsorship from community organizations, support from local businesses, and donations from individuals in the Greater Worcester Community. Successful candidates must reside and currently attend Worcester Public High School. Candidates must plan on attending college and present proof of acceptance, demonstrate strong academic achievement, have performed community service, and be able to attend the Asian Festival to volunteer and receive the award if selected.
